Baildon, West Vale, Featherstone, Holywell Green, Stoodley Pike
Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team responded to five incidents between 17 and 26 July 2026, including assistance with three people stranded on a rock face at Baildon, a missing person search in West Vale, a remote casualty evacuation near Holywell Green, and an injured walker at Stoodley Pike. The team also supported Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team with an incident in the Featherstone area.
Outcome: crag-fast climbers stood down when other resources sufficient; missing person search conducted; unconscious casualty evacuated; injured walker evacuated by stretcher
