Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Team, assisted by Oldham MRT, responded to an incident in Milnrow on 24 June 2023 involving a heavily intoxicated man who had refused help from paramedics and police. The casualty was willing to cooperate with the mountain rescue team and was successfully placed on a stretcher and conveyed to an ambulance.
