A woman sustained an ankle injury after slipping whilst crossing a stream at Red Tarn in the Lake District. Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team attended and provided treatment, splinting her ankle and administering pain relief before stretchering her from the hill. She was conveyed to hospital for further treatment.
Outcome: casualty treated and evacuated by stretcher to hospital
