Tinto Hill, Grey Mare’s Tail

Moffat Mountain Rescue attended two separate callouts over a weekend. On Saturday, assistance was provided to a walker with breathing difficulties on Tinto Hill, who was subsequently evacuated by the Scottish Ambulance Service. Later that weekend, the team assisted at Grey Mare's Tail following an incident where a hillwalker sustained head and hand injuries; the casualty was safely walked off the path before being transferred to hospital.

Outcome: Walker evacuated and transported to hospital
