A sheepdog became stuck on a ledge in East Chockstone Gully on St Sunday Crag after wandering into crags while helping clear sheep. Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team was called out on Monday evening but the search was suspended due to failing light and mist. The dog was successfully located and rescued the following morning using technical climbing equipment.
