Snowdon

A 29-year-old walker died after falling approximately 200 feet near Snowdon's summit on the descent. He slipped on moss while the group was off the path in poor visibility and cloud. Three mountain rescue teams and an RAF helicopter were involved in a seven-hour operation that located the other three members of the party, who were rescued from the rock face.

Outcome: casualty pronounced dead at hospital
