An injured climber was heard calling for help near Scafell on the evening of 22 September after suffering a fall in the Lord's Rake area. Three mountain rescue teams and a Coastguard helicopter worked together in difficult conditions over nearly 13 hours to locate and rescue the casualty, who was eventually handed to the ambulance service.
