Glyder Fawr, Snowdonia

Two walkers were rescued from Glyder Fawr in Snowdonia after becoming trapped on the 3,284ft peak. RAF Mountain Rescue Service personnel from RAF Valley worked with Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Organisation to lower the walkers 500 metres by rope in stages before walking them to safety.

Outcome: walkers lowered 500m by rope and walked to safety
