Tryfan and Glyder Fach, Eryri National Park

Two women died in separate mountain accidents in Eryri National Park within ten days. On 16 February, a woman slipped on grass while descending Glyder Fach and fell approximately 32 feet; her partner fell while attempting to assist her. On 22 February, a 28-year-old woman fell about 65 feet while ascending the north ridge of Tryfan; bystanders with climbing equipment and team members provided immediate assistance including CPR, but neither casualty survived.

Outcome: both casualties died from injuries sustained
