Watkin Path pools, Nant Gwynant, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon)
Two women died at the Watkin Path pools on Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in North Wales on Wednesday 12 June at approximately 21:30. One woman was pulled from the water and a second was retrieved, but both were pronounced dead at the scene despite immediate rescue efforts by Llanberis and Aberglaslyn Mountain Rescue Teams, the Air Ambulance, and Coastguard Rescue Helicopter.
