multiple incidents: dog rescue, injured biker, injured walkers Snowdonia

Tryfan, Gwydir Forest, Carneddau

Ogwen Valley Mountain Rescue Team responded to five callouts over 36 hours in early June, including a French Mastiff dog rescue on Tryfan's North Ridge, a mountain biker with a dislocated knee in Gwydir Forest, and three separate walkers with injuries on the Carneddau including suspected dislocated knees and a broken leg.

Outcome: dog lowered to safe ground and reunited with owner; biker treated and transferred to ambulance; walkers treated and evacuated to hospital by helicopter or stretcher

Support the team who responded. They turn out unpaid, in all weather — every team is a volunteer-run charity.
