Snowdon

A woman was blown off her feet on Snowdon during Storm Brian on Saturday afternoon and suffered a suspected broken ankle and finger injury. Sixteen Llanberis Mountain Rescue volunteers took four hours to reach her and evacuate her by stretcher down the mountain in extreme weather conditions with wind speeds of 112 mph. She was transferred to hospital for treatment.
