Longtown Mountain Rescue responded to a report of a person with a suspected arm injury in Llangattock near Crickhowell on 17 July. A man missing for nearly 24 hours on Skirrid Fach hill near Abergavenny was found on 11 December after an extensive search involving Longtown Mountain Rescue Team, search dog handlers, and members of the public. He was quickly evacuated and transferred to an ambulance for further treatment.

Mountain rescue teams were called out to assist in rescuing a young Labrador that had fallen down a deep and narrow slip near Torfaen, south Wales. The operation required setting up a rope system and involving specialists from two different cave rescue teams to safely bring the dog back to the surface.

Longtown Mountain Rescue Team responded to two simultaneous ankle injury call-outs on 2 January 2020. A man slipped on Sugar Loaf above Abergavenny and a woman slipped on Offa's Dyke Path; both were evacuated to hospital with assistance from Air Ambulance and local support.

A man in his 40s fell from his mobility scooter on Sugar Loaf Mountain in Monmouthshire and was rescued by Longtown Mountain Rescue volunteers. He was carried down the 1,955ft peak on a stretcher and transported to Nevill Hall Hospital.

Abergavenny-based Longtown Mountain Rescue Team was deployed to assist in the search for missing April Jones in Machynlleth over several days in early October, working in severe weather conditions alongside other rescue teams and local volunteers. During this period, the team also responded to a missing walker on Hay Bluff and a collapsed person on Pen y Fan who was evacuated by air ambulance.
