Honister slate mine, Borrowdale

A 64-year-old fell race competitor collapsed near Honister slate mine during the Borrowdale fell race on 1st August. Bowland Pennine MRT assisted Keswick MRT at a nearby checkpoint until the Air Ambulance arrived and transported the casualty to hospital.

Outcome: casualty airlifted to hospital by Air Ambulance
