Fall/Injury Rescue Snowdonia

Tryfan, Ogwen Valley

A seven-hour rescue operation was conducted in Eryri after a walker sustained leg and ankle injuries following a 10-metre fall on Tryfan. Mountain rescue teams performed a complex technical rope rescue to safely bring the injured individual down the mountainside.

Outcome: Casualty treated and handed over to ambulance service

Support the team who responded. They turn out unpaid, in all weather — every team is a volunteer-run charity.
