A group of four walkers required rescue on Cairn Toul after becoming lost and suffering from exposure during a 24-hour walk. Mountain rescue teams located the party in the early hours when they were found to be wet, cold, and one individual was hypothermic.

Animal Rescue Brecon Beacons

Mountain rescue teams were called out to assist in rescuing a young Labrador that had fallen down a deep and narrow slip near Torfaen, south Wales. The operation required setting up a rope system and involving specialists from two different cave rescue teams to safely bring the dog back to the surface.

A 33-year-old man from Dornoch was reported missing on 25 July 2020 after travelling to Ben Loyal for hill walking. Assynt Mountain Rescue Team joined family, friends and volunteers in an extensive search, focusing on steep rocky terrain on the north side of the mountain where his car was found at a trailhead.

A six-year-old girl fell into a pool above Llanberis Waterfall and was washed over the 100ft drop. A bystander pulled her to safety before mountain rescue arrived. She was conscious and alert when paramedics transported her to hospital for treatment.

Three hillwalkers from Motherwell became lost in mist on The Cobbler in Arrochar and were rescued by Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team. All three were safely escorted down the mountain and met by police at the base, where they were issued fines for breaking lockdown travel restrictions.
