Striding Edge, Bad Step
A member of a group of five hikers fell whilst descending the Bad Step on Striding Edge on 23 August 2025, prompting a callout to Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team. The casualty was assisted down the mountain safely by the team. One year later, the group completed a 21-mile charity walk to raise funds for the team that rescued them.
